Working up some studies of sky to see if it would work with the house portrait. I think I enjoy painting landscapes because I really like to paint the sky. I've been in front of
John Constable's cloud studies many times. The
YALE CENTER FOR BRITISH ART, in New Haven, has an airy room full of John Constable"s oil sketches of clouds.
