I try to stop by
Montgomery Place about this time, to visit the garden. It's a 19th century estate overlooking the Hudson River. Aside from the peaceful garden, there's a network of trials & paths with views of the river & the
Catskill Mountain. There is a large orchard on the property. When it's in season,
the farm stand sells over 60 different varieties of apples & pears. One of the prettiest farm stand in the area.
