Getting out my
Paris souvenir for this humble Marigold. I've been painting florals with watercolor for so long, I thought I would experiment with oil pastel on
canvas paper.

I love how the texture of the paper ia affecting the feel of the petals. The tip of the oil pastel is just right for indicating the green leaves.

Really like the smoothness of the wash, a nice contrast next to the texture of the flowers.
