Of all the neighborhoods of Paris, Montmartre offers me endless possibilities. This sketch was inspired by the moody paintings of Maurice Utrillo. All his life, he painted scenes of Montmartre, where he lived. A torture artist, brushes & canvases helped him to overcome the struggle of daily life.
