Came upon one of my earlier sketchbook from England. I just graduated & the 80's was a busy time for me. I was definitely doing a lot of painting. There was no such thing as social media, which sucks up alot of my time these days. There were alot of deadlines & one is constantly working on the portfolio. Taking a summer off in East Anglia, England was just my way to recharge my creative juice. I had no deadline or art director to deal with. I think that was how I got into the habit of doodling & sketching. The English countryside was so inspiring, filling up my sketchbooks was pretty easy. The area, after all, is what originally inspired
John Constable to become a landscape painter.
