UNUSUAL FALL

This is so usual, I thought I would post the edited fall sketch. Pure magic to see big snowflakes on the colorful fall foliage...we got 5 inches of snow from this early storm. Fall foliage season is definately over for this year.

FALL MAGIC

Alot of the fall foliage came down from the crazy storm, last week. There's still plenty of colors, with a little imagination, one might find a few fairies in the woods?

PUMPKIN SEASON

Due to all the rain last Summer, it was a terrible year to find a good pumpkin. Mother nature gave us a draught this Summer. It's definately a good year for pumpkins.

MISTY MORNING

Solitary contemplation of a few simple shapes... this texture paper seems to do half the job of expressing the mood. It's my latest sketchbook, a gift from Florence. The texture of the paper is so unique, I wonder if this is the paper that SEURAT used in all his conte drawings.

CRISP FOLIAGE

For me, painting landscape feels the most natural. Foliage & water make a nice contrast of textures; on a bright crisp late autumn day along Lake Ave.
