SUMMER MORNING

Aside from plenty of peace & quiet, 7 AM at the beach is a great time to hang out with the egrets. This new born is about half the size of the parent.

After a long stretch of wonderful beach days, I have to stay indoor today! One does get spoil!

PASTEL NOCTURNE

The end of Steamboat Rd is an easy detour. The sky & Long Island Sound offers me endless inspirations to fill my sketchbook. Even if I dont have enough time to finish a sketch, I bring the memory back to my studio.

L I SOUND

Due to the chilly breeze from L.I. Sound, enormous serenity at Tod's Point. Not a soul or pet on the beach. I like this new white filbert from Blick Scholastic series. Just the right size for dabs of clouds & highlights for the wave. A regular 2B pencil works well over the oil sketch.
